Examining Common Core, Educating Stability: Social Studies is the canary in the coal mine ends the Hatfields vs. McCoys range war whether Common Core is worthwhile.

Neither the pro-Common Core Hatfields or the anti-Common Core McCoys are right. And the Social Studies Frameworks passed off as Common Core show why.

Teachers need to encourage better writing, reading, and numeracy that prompted Common Core, and avoid  indoctrination and social transformation that voters never would have supported had they known it had been inserted using Common Core as cover.
